Anthony Peltier is a Washington, D.C. based visual journalist by way of Minneapolis, Minnesota. For the past several years, his cameras have been there when people and power meet: the White House, the Capitol, the national events that move the country. His work has appeared with the Associated Press, Newsmax, EWTN, and MSNOW.
Before the press credential, there was the airline gig. It came with flight benefits and something better. A front row seat to other people's stories, and the freedom to start chasing his own. In 2016, he chased one onto the presidential campaign trail. That assignment opened a door, and the door led from Minneapolis to Washington. He has been documenting history ever since.
When the pandemic grounded the country, he came back to finish what he had started. Minneapolis was where he began. Georgetown is where he landed. He studies to sharpen the craft, to know the ground he walks on, and to bring sharper accuracy, ethics, and context to every frame. The work keeps moving. So does he.
